India Volunteer Tourism

From the time I was a backpacker in my college days, Interactive tourism has been a part and parcel of my holiday plans. I make it a point to dedicate at least 20% of my holiday time as a drop in the CSR Volunteer Tourism of the country I visit for my annual holiday. I have relied generally on my booking agent to set up such volunteer work for me in absence of any reliable source on the web. This particular time too, I would have done the same, but I just happened to browse through two very appealing SEOs, India Volunteer Tourism and Volunteer Tours India. Both the sites opened a plethora of options in the Indian Golden triangle of Delhi-Agra-Jaipur. Having selected Jaipur, I was pleasantly surprised when the travel agent running this site gave me not just a variety of offers including animal care as a volunteer, but also gave me low cost options for home stays close bye as well. I was impressed. My holiday went well but the volunteer experience was so beautifully organised and satisfying, that I have recommended the agent to numerous volunteer tourists like me.

CSR Activities In India

I like to include my social footprint while planning holiday itineraries and prefer to link with agents who promote CSR tourism India. India as a land of ‘karma’ offers such CSR tourism opportunities. I chose this travel agent as they had an active CSR profile, with a very exhaustive website giving details of their CSR initiatives in India and CSR activities in India. They also offered a range of CSR opportunities in India with the assurance to tailor fit them into my sight seeing itineraries. So, when I requisitioned a social inclusion while at Jaipur, I was immediately offered multiple location, time and participation choices with both children and animals. I chose the special children of course and was delighted to spend exclusive and well coordinated time at their school, interacting with them, their dedicated counselors and even visiting their vocational training centre, where I landed up purchasing numerous gifts for my friends back home. It was truly a marvelous CSR experience for the first time on my India holidays. I am coming back for more.
